GDPR Addendum

Supplemental Privacy Notice for the EEA & United Kingdom

This supplemental notice applies to individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom. It should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and provides additional information required under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.

WiredMedium is based in the United States. If you are located in the EEA or the United Kingdom, please be aware that your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Where we transfer personal data outside of the EEA or the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

We will respond to your request within one (1) month of receipt. In certain circumstances, we may extend this period by up to two additional months, in which case we will notify you of the extension and the reasons for the delay.

We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. We will not charge a fee for exercising your rights, except where requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

If you believe that our processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a Data Protection Authority (DPA) in your country of residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.

This addendum supplements our main Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between this addendum and our Privacy Policy, the provisions of this addendum shall prevail for individuals in the EEA and the United Kingdom.
